    Dialled Voice Calls

    I have a PayAsYouGo SIM that allows me todiall voice calls in my (old) mobile phone.

    If I insert it in OdroidA I can make & recieve text messages but not dialled voice calls.

    As soon as I make the call I get "Call Ended"

    Any suggestions as to how to debug this - or is it that I must open yet another account with my provider?

    As I know, the 3G modem in the Odroid-A can't access any voice call.
    Please refer this document.

    I'm not quite clear what you mean - can I not use the phone icon on the main screen (left of "Apps" & "Browser") to make voice calls?

    If not - should it not be removed?

    The phone icon was automatically generated when we build Google open source Android PDK.
    We are trying to keep the original source code as much as possible because some developers want to make their own mobile phone with our BSP source code.

    In fact, we had a notice of "Data only SIM card is compatible for 3G network" in this link.
